This Slotin Folk Art Auction will featured 50 works of art for sale as a Benefit Auction for the American Folk Art Museum. 100% of the total purchase price of each item (including the 15% buyer’s premium) go to support the Museum’s upcoming exhibitions and educational programming. The American Folk Art Museum is the premier cultural institution in the United States dedicated to the collection, exhibition, and study of traditional and contemporary folk art. Its collection represents more than three centuries of the very best of American folk art, as well as the compelling work of self-taught artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. All winning bidders of items in the Benefit Auction will receive a complimentary one-year membership to the American Folk Art Museum, including a subscription to the Museum’s award-winning magazine Folk Art.
